Q: If the frame is bent or severely damaged on my iPad 2, 3 or 4, can the cracked screen still be repaired?

A: In most cases, your iPad screen can be repaired. We may have to make some modifications to the frame to allow the new screen to lay flat; however, we will do our best to accommodate your specific situation and will most likely be able to repair it.

Q: How long does it take to repair a cracked screen on an iPad 2, 3 or 4?

A: The average time to repair a cracked iPad 2, 3 or 4 screen is 45 minutes to one hour.  However, these times may vary based on the condition of the device. More damage, such as frame damage, extreme shattering or unforeseen internal damage, may cause repair times to be extended.

Q: Is your iPad cracked screen repair service a same-day service?

A: Yes, generally we can have your iPad fixed and returned to you on the same day.  Certain conditions may affect same-day service, such as the time the device is dropped off and the extent of the damage. We will do our best to ensure your iPad screen repairs are completed same-day.

Q: Does Fix & Style offer a warranty on the iPad cracked screen repair?

A: Yes, our warranty covers the iPad 2, 3 and 4 digitizer (part) repair. If the part is defective, we will replace that part free of charge within one year.

Q: Can I mail my iPad 2, 3, or 4 to you and have you ship it back to me?

A: Yes.

Q: I cracked the screen on my iPad 2, 3 or 4. Is it possible there is any other internal damage in the device?

A: While this rarely happens, internal damage is a possibility. However, we are unable to assess the extent of the damage until the device is opened. Fix & Style Mobile Repair Centerspecializes in iPad repair in Fairfax, VA. If you bring your iPad to one of our locations, we can assess the damage.

Q: I tried to replace my iPad screen and unfortunately was not successful. Will you replace the iPad screen?

A: Yes.

Q: Will I lose any data if I get my iPad 2, 3 or 4 screen repaired?

A: No, you will not lose any data when your iPad screen is repaired.

Q: Should I try repairing my iPad 2, 3 or 4 myself?

A: While it is possible to repair the device on your own, we strongly discourage it.  Feel free to attempt the repair if you feel you have the proper tools, necessary aptitude and a high level of patience. Video tutorials found online often leave out critical repair information that if not implemented, may cause you to completely ruin your device. In many cases, the cost of tools and personal repair time will add up to the cost of bringing your iPad into a professional at the repair shop.

Q: What type of parts do you use?

A: We use OEM and OEM spec parts that are always examined for weight, color, clarity and functionality.

Q: Do you have cheaper parts that could bring the price of the iPad screen repair down?

A: Cheaper parts are available for special order, but these are generally aftermarket parts. These cheaper alternative parts often boast thinner glass, bend more and have an “off” coloring. This results in an uneven, cheaper feel for your device. Aftermarket parts also tend to break easier and have a shorter warranty. Generally, iPad screen repairs offered for $99 or lower use these aftermarket parts.
